Omaha Hi-Lo (also known as Omaha 8 or better) is commonly viewed as one of the most complicated but favored poker variations. It is a game that, even more than regular Omaha poker, aims for play from every level of players. This is the primary reason why a once invisible game, has grown in acceptance so amazingly.
Omaha 8 or better begins like a normal game of Omaha. 4 cards are handed out to each player. A sequence of wagering follows in which players can bet, check, or fold. 3 cards are given out, this is known as the flop. A further sequence of betting happens. Once all the players have either called or dropped out, a further card is revealed on the turn. an additional sequence of wagering ensues at which point the river card is flipped. The gamblers will have to make the best high and low five card hands based on the board and hole cards.
